I only know Space Station nr 5 .

That one, too, yes! I think there must have been 9 Space Stations altogether. The one you're referring to was used by Thunderbirds, I believe?

Oh, you mean this one ?

That's the one!

Purpendicular is their best record since Perfect Strangers, and they both are just as good as those 70's records!!!! So there...

Agreed, I've never seen as much Purpen era bashing as I've seen in this era. Ah well, taste is individual, and sometimes many agree. I'm with you killer.

Hey,

I got this *great* boot CD recently and Gillan mentions they were not acttually on tour. I would be a couple of day out of prision (they were recording Purpendicular).

QUESTION: Is that Steve Morse's first concert with DP?

Alex

I just 'stumbled' on this post/ question, and see it's already 7 or 8 pages long... so I assume the question was already answered
 emoticon

I'm looking at my ticket stub for said date: SAT MAR 04, 1995 8:00P.M

SUNRISE MUSICAL THEATRE
BUDWEISER
welcomes
DEEP PURPLE

$22.75
price&all taxes incl. $3.50

Row-V
Seat-221

Purchased Feb. 6.

It sits in my Battle Rages On CD case.

As if I can remember any of the concerts/ shows Ive seen in my lifetime, I do have recollections emoticon emoticon emoticon .....

I enjoyed this show.

I'm currently looking for the boot that our friend Spills sent me a couple years back and give a listen.

I was at the Perihelion show in 2001 and was less impressed... Dp was headed towards the 'Greatest Hits/ Blackmore Tribute Band that they are now solid and sold as.

Purpendicular was new and 'fresh' (re-freshing!).
The show March 4th had the rawness that comes with that 'new car' smell.

Again, I enjoyed the show.
Unless you were there or whatever, a boot might or not do justice.

In 1995, you were either Blackmore or Gillan Deep Purple.

I was always a Blackmore fanatic, but more readily accept DP with Gillan than Joe Lynn Turner, + or - Blackmore.

Being a Deep Purple fan, were all a dysfunctional family emoticon

You'd be much better off buying Feinstein's Third Wish metal masterpiece than the humiliating Burpindicular.

I'd rather listen to Dio's Dream Evil. "Sunset Superman" has an interesting bass line (again).

Talking about bass...

The encore of SOTW, Roger broke out the Rickenbacker... Sunrise was THUNDERING!

I most definately 'recollect' turning to my friend, who was turning to me, as we both were amazed! Couldnt hear anything but that bass emoticon It replaced my heartbeat! So I guess I was on a SOTW/ Rickenbacker pacemaker a few minutes in '95......
