Purpendicular, Abandon, Bananas and Rapture Of The Deep is at least hard rock

There's not a single track on Burpindicular, Lemons or Crapture of the Shallow that I would classify as hard rock. Abandon our Pride was a feeble effort at converting a southern rock guitarist to hard rock. Mark Crap is a sophomoric pop band that's no better than JLT era Rainbow but you burpers blindly accept crap as progress. The Everything Crappier Than Everything Else era has been absolutely pathetic!

Brian, take some of your own dished out crap for once.
I don't put things anywhere near the same as KB, and have never once even remotely indicated that I prefere Morse to Blackmore, so you need to understand that it's possible for a person to enjoy more than one guitarist, but it doesn't mean a thing concerning who I like better, besides playing the guitar myself, you know I prefere singers anyway, as good ones they are not of the dime a dozen sort, period.
Wake up about that.

(good/great/spectacular guitarists are a dime a dozen, as where singers of that status are not, they are a rare breed)

GM, I haven't said that I prefer Morse to Blackmore either!

I'm saying that Blackmore is long gone, and I accept Purple for what they are today. Blackmore wont return to hard rock just because some fans say he should celebrate DP's 40th.

I stand by my word when it comes to the current line up. They are still a fantastic live band, and they have proven able to write good songs. All that is better than Blackmores production since 1997.

If anything, I hope Blackmore will reunite Rainbow with Doogie instead of returning to Purple. Would keep everyone happy, except Awiddle and Reborn I guess...

I didn't say you prefere Morse to Blackmore, I threw it in there because many sem to think that to support him in any light, is to dis on Blackmore, and it's simply bollocks, but once these people notioned it, they have been clinging to such a notion ever since, even though nothing of the sort is even remotely indicated.
It's just a figment of their imaginations and something that serves to feed their crusade.

Whats not original about it besides it containing a different guitar player and it being a cover?
Those two elements do not even come close to an entire Bad Company tribute album, which S&M barely succeeded at being, face it, there was nothing original about the album, good or bad, just a fantasy trip down retro lane, full of Purple would be songs from the 1974-75 era.

...well, there's emoticon (I chose that particular emoticon 'cause it's the only one readily available that points up emoticon) at least two things that aren't original about the version of "Bludsucker" on "Abandon". emoticon emoticon

Yes, but there is an album full of unoriginality concerning S&M, which can be denied, but only by those who don't know where the style of music orinated from in the first place, thourhg being stuck up the backside of Ritchie Blackmore.
I don't like Abandon much at all to speak of, to each their own, but there is much more originality going on there than on S&M.
Plus even though I find it to be nearly as commercial as S&M which is still good by many standards, at least it's(Abandon) commercial heavy rock, instread of dreary and popesque, ala Truth Hurts, which is best suited for wedding receptions.

Back to the original question: in fact, I got this bootleg twice, either under the name "Purple SunSHINE", or the name "Blackless Morsemania". Let's be clear for the ones who use European date format that the concert took place on March 4, 1995 (and not April 3, 1995). However, the two track lists are not exactly the same:

Purple Sunshine

Fireball
Black Night
The battle rages on
Ted the Mechanic
Woman from Tokyo
The Purpendicular Waltz
When a blind man cries
Perfect Strangers
Pictures of Home
Knocking at your back door
Anyone's Daughter
Child in Time
Anya
Lazy (excerpt)
Speed King
Highway Star
Smoke on the Water

Blackless Morsemania

Fireball
Black Night
The battle rages on
Ted the Mechanic
Woman from Tokyo
The Purpendicular Waltz
When a blind man cries
Perfect Strangers
Anyone's Daughter
Child in Time
Anya
Soon Forgotten
Lazy
Speed King
Highway Star
Smoke on the Water

Pictures Of Home and Knocking At Your Back Door are on Blackless Morsemania, but aren't listed on the cover...

And Purple Sunrise is complete too, only Purple Sunshine missed a part and originally included the South Africa radio session instead of it (which wasn't included on the version of the Bootleg series).
