No.
I don't see any reason why it should happen.
What would be great is an official release of one of the 93 shows.
This is the December '93 set list of MkVI:
Highway Star
Ramshackle Man
Black Night
Maybe I'm A Leo
A Twist In The Tale
Perfect Strangers
Pictures Of Home
Keyboard solo
Knocking At Your Back Door
Anyone's Daughter
Child In Time
Anya
The Battle Rages On
When A Blind Man Cries
Lazy
~Drum solo
Space Truckin'
Hush
Speed King
Smoke On The Water
This is the '94 set list of MkVI
Highway Star
Ramshackle Man
Black Night
Maybe I'm A Leo
Fireball
~Into The Fireinstrumental
A Twist In The Tale
Perfect Strangers
Pictures Of Home
Keyboard solo
Knocking At Your Back Door
Anyone's Daughter
Child In Time
Anya
The Battle Rages On
When A Blind Man Cries
Lazy
~Drum solo
Satch Boogie (Joe Satriani)
Space Truckin'
~Woman From Tokyo
~Paint It Black
Hush
Speed King
Smoke On The Water
I'd rather go for a '94 show...

Re: Mark 6 Reunion w/ Satriani for 2008 (max of 40 shows) yes or no
If a band with Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Joe Satriani, Jon Lord and Ian Paice came around to gig I'd sure find my way to see them, no matter what label it sorted under.
I'm not sure if I would think about it as Deep Purple, but that's less important to me.
But that's pretty unrealistic. A DVD of one of the best shows Mk 6 did, however, should be possible to realize. I mean, they have the tapes. The shows were great. It's easy to produce the DVD's. It sure would sell as good as any Purple material these days.

Maybe we should have a Black Sabbath reunion with Rob Halford on vocals. Or a Asia reunion with Greg Lake on vocals. Or a Van Halen reunion with Gary Cherone on vocals.
That would make about as much sense as this scenario.

I would like to see Satriani play with DP together for a tour of the United States.
It would be one heavy DP, with both Morse and Satriani on guitar.
What's wrong with two guitar players for DP anyway?

The material isn't written for two guitarists, so I'm not sure how much it could add without becoming a mess.

MkI is/was represented with "Live at The Forum" aka "Inglewood '68".
The other two Mks mentioned are both also deserving of having live representations.

Totally agree.
Either you have a double (triple?) lead guitar band with some background support from the keyboards (see Wishbone Ash), either you have a guitar + keyboard (preferably Hammond) band where both instruments are on an equal foot (like it was the case for "In Rock" for instance").

Re: Mark 6 Reunion w/ Satriani for 2008 (max of 40 shows) yes or no
If Steve Morse - for whatever reason(s) - wasn't DP's lead guitarist by 2008 and Ritchie Blackmore - again, for whatever reason(s) - didn't wanna be involved, then having Joe Satriani 'dep' or join as a full-time band member wouldn't be altogether bad news as far as I'm concerned.
Also, as has been previously pointed out, unless Jon Lord was somehow involved, it wouldn't be a 'true' MkVI reunion anyway.

No, I wouldn't want to see Satriani back with Purple, but from a totoaly alternate point of view; Joe's current live and studio output is just too good to compromise for a 'greatest hits' DP tribute package!
