My question is to those who vote Doogie....were you born 1980 or later?

Here another Doogie voter.
I think you know I'm born earlier than 1980 emoticon

I saw Doogie live in April this year and he had a very good voice. I chose what's fitting and what I know.

I was there too.... emoticon

Although I prefer DTE, I vote for Doogie.
That concert in Verviers proofed that Doogie still can handle all periods of Rainbow.

Yep, I gave it a try emoticon

I am surprised so many votes for Doogie.
My question is to those who vote Doogie....were you born 1980 or later?

I grew up in the 70's and was born listening to DP/ Rainbow, and all the other classic bands. I think it would have been cool to see a 1980 follow-up to Down to Earth.

Rainbow became more top 40'ish with LLR&R, though I dont recall any songs played from Rising or LLR&R on the radio(for me, that would have been Chicago's The Loop or WMET at the time)

With Down to Earth, Rainbow were on MTV and getting loads of airplay with Since You Been Gone and All Night Long.

Ahh, guess the 'ol Pony is a geezer now

IMO, a Powell, Airey, Glover w/ Bonnet 2nd time around trumps anything Doogie and whomever could do...

I voted for Doogie 'cause SIUA needs a follow up, and I was born in '69.

IMO SIUA was one of Rainbows best albums, and Doogie was one of Rainbows best singers.

Graham Bonnet or Doogie White?

My pick....

Bonnet. The era was Rainbow.

Doogie, fine enough vocalist, but Rainbow , 10 years removed.

With Bonnet, it was given that Cozy was leaving, but you remained with Glover/Airey.

Down to Earth is a darn good album.

Your vote?

Wow-
I trail Bonnet by a vote- KOOL

White, no doubt. Though I like some of the stuff Bonnet did with Rainbow, I don't really like him as a performer. And, I attended the DTE tour twice, so I ain't born in the 80ies.
