With all the cloak and dagger stuff surrounding Ritchie I personally wouldn't be at all surprised if it turned out that Ritchie's new manager hooked him up with her daughter in a sham relationship to disguise the fact that he's gay in return for starting her singing career.

The story about Ritchie meeting Candy at the soccer game is true.
IIRC Carole became Ritchie's manager in '97, just before the US SIUA tour.
