Attention Bolinoids!
I'm not sure if anyone's previously commented on this, but are the Bolinoids in general aware that the latest issue of "Guitar Player" magazine features Tommy Bolin on it's cover and is the first name mentioned in the cover-blurb column of names regarding one of the issue's main articles, "The 100 Most Forgotten (or something like that, anyways)Rock Guitarists"...just thought I'd toss the info out there for those who may not have heard about it.

Re: Attention Bolinoids!
There's a great "how to play like Blackmore" article in said mag as well.Seems to be more vintage than current style with the former man in black from what I can cypher with my limited music/tab reading abilities.

Anyone know who else was in the list?

Here's the cover.
I went to the Guitar Player website. They know how to keep the contents of the mag a secret. I couldn't find anything on the issue there!

Re: Attention Bolinoids!
That has to be one of the worst Bolin photos. Why did they choose that?

The goofy GP website failed to mention anything about the issue, the cover shot included!
I suppose the idea must have been to bring 'humour' to the cover story...

If memory serves, quite a few of the names that are on their list can be read along the right side - if one 'blows up' the cover image that Rezi posted...which I can't & still be able to read the names...now that I think about it, two of the names were - I think - Jan Akkerman & Robbie Blunt.

Re: Attention Bolinoids!
Its truly bizarre to see the long dead Bolin grace the cover of a magazine in 2007.
