#19 Deep Purple (Third Album) deserves to be ranked in the top 5 IMHO. It and Fireball are my favorite DP albums. As for Banana's at #22, I think it rates higher than ROTD. My choice for last place would be ROTD. Stormbringer also deserves to be ranked lower IMHO.

Could argue over specific placements but I think the general spread is fair enough. The top albums for me were the MkII and Burn years, rank ordering them would vary depending on the day I tried. More interesting are the reviews of each, generally agree that may of us groaned when JLT joined, were pleasantly surprised by Purpendicular (even if some of us feel Abandon was a poor follow up). I tend to pay little attention to rankings but that one was interestingly written. thanks for sharing.
