Re: Slip Of The Tongue - 30th Anniversary release

I imagine I'll probably buy this. I'm a wee bit disappointed that the live album and live dvd are the previously released Donington 1990, but the demos, evolutions and remixes will be worth hearing.

It's a shame they didn't record shows on the American tour before they came to Europe.

It still amazes me that so much talent could produce such a poor record.

DC asked for some audience bootlegs. I sent Lausanne and Stockholm, but it seems that they didn't consider them to be good enough to include them.

Just my opinion, Sailing Ships for me is the best song on the album, Judgement Day, Now You're Gone & The Deeper The Love are excellent but the rest of the album does very little for me. As for Fool For Your Loving.....

I have to agree. I can barely stand Now you're gone. The rest, Sailing ships included, is, for me, the antithesis of what Whitesnake always stood for.
I have wet dreams of when David will do such anniversary releases for the catalogue 1978-1983

He can't, he doesn't own the rights to them...

He might do something with the solo albums Whitesnake & Northwinds at some point.

Yes, he recently bought the rights for these two albums back.
