Manchester
All,
What a sickening and extremely sad day. My wife and I took our kids to see Purple in 2007 (they were indoctrinated then) and this tragedy hits right to the core. Well done the music community for condemning this evil act, for Manchester for being strong and despite our issues, for the UK's rule of law, freedom of speech, free press, democracy and tolerance.
Our sympathies and condolences to every family affected by this tragedy.

It shows just how much ignorance and stupidity - sorry, I'm not going to be politically correct on this - can determine the behaviour of young, impressionable fanatics. It hurts to learn about the victims, their everyday lives destroyed in a second when they were supposed to have good fun in peace. And as a father, I am particularly hurt when I hear about children being involved.

You're right talking about "ignorance". I'm even more convinced that culture and education are the roots of any kind of civilisation.
