Re: Born Again.
And I revise that unofficial declaration and open the doors for nice sympathic dumb ass pricks like the above poster is one...or the above of the above? Oh, damn I´m getting younger!

As I know that not being able to read properly is as much a part of dyslexia as writing problems(though never being really able to concentrate on the subject isn´t) I know that you´ve problem missed me having answered long above. Therefore I suggest have another look and don´t take everything so deadly serious, my sad old farty.

Re: Born Again.
A great BS album! Right there with the first albums and H&H.
The as someone said above, there's something weird to the sound of the album. A mate put it well: "there's something wrong with the sound" - using "wrong" as a positive word ("diabolically wrong" perhaps?).

Re: Born Again.
The production was no doubt very muddy, due mostly to Geezer mixing it and not knowing that it was recorded with a blown bass speaker, big hole in the project if you ask me.

Re: Born Again.
G micstand where did you get the info regarding Geezer mixing the album? Also never heard the blown speaker theory.
Here is a quote from Tony Iommi-
"There are some good songs but the production is awful - really huffy, due to two amps blowing in the monitor system and nobody noticing."
That was taken from Raw Magazine, but I saw it on the "Gillan the Hero" site.

Re: Born Again.
Your quote from Iommi sounds correct, however,I believe I read an answer to a question in the Q and A section at Gillans website, addressing the sound.
As Far as Geezer mixing it,this should be common knowlege.heres a quote from Gillan:
"Never leave the mixing duties to a bass player"

Re: Born Again.
No,he mentioned this in a question about Born Again, when he left on holiday after the recording,it was left in Geezers hands to do the mixing.
