I´m sorry as hell! I´ve recently discovered your pm, which I must have over-read at a time I must have been very busy. You´re still interested? Of course I do trade!emoticon

No need to be sorry! We can't remember everything!

I've only got BB Live on cassette I'm afraid.

I do have First of the Big Bands on CD, but I bought that in Greece. I haven't actually seen a copy of it anywhere else!

But I'm sure it must be out there!

Ah yes PAL's FOTBB,
It seems to be hard to find lately according to some people here that are looking for it.
I only have an 8track of it,happy to have it
but I would surely love to listen to it for the first time since 1978.

Re: Gillan's MAD single

I got the BB Live on tape from the bloke who posted above me but have it meanwhile on CD-R as well.

I also have the film on VHS but probably having a hard time copying as I can´t access two VCRs at the same time, currently.

But it´s quite cheesy anyway as there are obviously more concept film sequences than concert footage. And those sequences are...um...erm...even for the seventies!emoticon

Just kidding,I know you don't fancy things that are very seventies...
(hence a comment once made about Dio being a psuedo hippy) emoticon

That I don´t fancy things that are very seventies is absolutly untrue, I don´t want it to stay like this! emoticon

I like those things that are just weird, and I have a lot of the essence of that time in me(you should meet me in the middle of the summer), even if I didn´t live there(although I wish I had) and many films, songs or books were others say "man, that´s just weird and crazy-spacy" and there I just say! Yay, cool!emoticon

But Dio´s:"Mumble, mumble peace to the world...and love!" seems a bit out of place there.emoticon

The sequences with people in large animal costumes are even too out of this world for that time. During Old Blind Mole you mainly see someone walking around in a moleman costume with dark sunglasses and a cane and hitting on some girls he meets on the streets and they run away screaming. The concert footage is under half a minute.

You see froggy with a guitar when you´re supposed to see Gillan on his comeback night, but at least you see more of him durnig that sequence than you see of the singer of Old Blind Mole(a personal favourite on BB.emoticon).

But I´m a lot seventies, indeed.emoticon

Re: Gillan's MAD single

You see Gillan during the chorus but through most verses there are those shots that describe the lyrics.

You mean long haired man who walk around barefoot(in sandals if necessary) in summer with shiny coloured wide shirts and wide trousers and who spend as much as possible of the summer months lying in high grass or sitting at the river? Yes I think that´s correct!emoticon
