Gillan solo stuff - some advice please

I'm pretty new to the forum and would appreciate some advice. I've got Mr Universe and Glory Road on LP and would like to buy some more of IG's solo material. Has anyone got any recommendations as to what I should get?

Just for the record. You have the two best ones already. The only one recommended to you that I would not have listed is Double Trouble. Not that its bad but just not on par with the others IMHO.

If you do not already have Gillan Glover Accidently on Purpose I will warn that there is both a 10 and a 13 track version out there.

I certainly think the live LP of Double Trouble is expendable but the studio portion is a must. My gosh, Gillan the band were so underrated!! At least Stateside.

The only track I really liked from the studio portion was Born to kill. Hadely Bop must have been some kind of Joke and thats the only reason I even remember it. Those are the only two tracks I can name off the album. It was my least favorite from Scarabus on.

I mentioned it in the first place because it's a favorite of mine, not the live part though.
When it came out I was loving what was happening to them, they were topping the brittish charts and doing 200 shows a year.
I know,like Torme was saying,where was the $$$$!!!!!(so what)
Double Trouble was great,it just doesn't stand out very well, these type of records have their significance though.
I recommend it highly,it was produced nicely by Steve Smith, sort of like Gillan meets IGB.
Partucular favorite tracks for me are
Men Of War,Reastless and Nightmare, not to mention Born To Kill and Sunbeam.emoticon

I wonder why nobody has mentioned the fabulous Cherkazoo and Other Stories or Clear Air Turbulence.
Those two are Gillan's best solo outputs IMO.
