A great song! Wow, I love it!
Does anyone know if it is Bill Ward on this song? Some say it is, others say it isnt..
This sounds more Bill Ward then any of the other BA tracks! In fact Bill plays with an early 70's energy mostly missing from his later playing. Amazing track. It doesn't sound really like Born Again- more like a weird mix of early Ozzy era Sabbath and 78-81 GILLAN. What a find!

Re: Born Again demos - unreleased song online
First... a BIG thank you to Big-J!!!

Is this the scoop of the year?"
Wow. Ummm. Maybe not 'master quality' but my socks are embedded in the wall! If those were simply 'rough vocals that should have been erased', then I'm Captain Jack Sparrow ('Let's say we make it three schillings and forget the name')! :-) It sounds like Ward on drums to me. And, 'sloppy' or not, been a while since I've heard a 'different' riff from Tony and I loved it (no mistaking that sound). Talk about "one from the vault"!!!
Does this mean, for sure, a remastered version (without Geezer near the board) :-) will be out soon, with this track? Ironic, I know analog (geeez, do I know analog). This could very well be from a cassette. There are two distinct dropouts, consistent with cassette recordings.
Musically, I also noticed the similarity to Gillan. I did not hear it on BA but here, to me, it sounds like the Technical Ecstasy / Never Say Die 'Sabbath Period' perfectly melded with the 'Gillan' band sound. Great backings too (do you hear how high the backing vocals are ...as Ian would say ...'amazing' ). I am delighted to hear this and thanks for bringing this 'news-flash' to us all (glad I pay attention)!!!
--- Cheers,
The Doctor

Re: Born Again demos - unreleased song online
Hey everyone, I'm new here, and just stumbled over this topic after reading various topics.
Would anyone mind sending me this song? Or if that doesn't work, could you send it to me on msn at [email protected] or on aol at JoshXZR? If anyone could, that would be great, I would really appreciate it.
I plan to pick up Born Again soon. But right now, I am still waiting for my import of In Rock to come in from the local cd store. Its taking forever! Bleh
