Has anyone heard the Gillan 1982 Wembley cd?

I was recently surfing on Amazon, and I saw this cd which was supposedly the last show the Gillan Band ever did. I am curious to know how it sounds. By his own admission in his autobiography, Ian's voice was pretty much shot by this point. In fact, he wrote that his voice was a large part of the reason he disbanded Gillan. If anyone has heard this recording please post a review. I am interested in the sound quality as well as the performance. Thanks for any help.

Sound isn't brilliant (but then i've been listening to the Sonic Zoom Kneel and Pray recently!!) and the overall performance a bit erratic (as was the whole Magic tour IIRC).
Ger's solo is cliched, drummings a bit leaden , so thank god for Colin Towns!!
One to file as an unrefined raw 'soundboard bootleg'.

We'll if it's a sounboard,it must have been recently released or something,my old bootleg couldn't be a sounboard job.
Erratic???I don't know about that Roy,I've had this thing since 83 and I wouldn't call it that and never have.
However I would not recommend very many Gillan bootlegs of that tour.
If you really wanna hear what the Gillan band could do in a live performance,I suggest checking out these DPAnyLineup:
Gillan The BBC Tapes volume 1&2
on the [sign in to see URL] label
These recordings are light years from anything you are likely to find in the history of Gillans solo career.
(the very finest)

Actually I've heard the BBC recordings, and they are quite good. But what has me really interested in this particular one is the fact that Janick is on it. The only live Gillan I have with Gers is the Double Trouble cd. How is Janick's playing on this?

Nowhere near as good as on Double Trouble, the only significance would have to be some of the "Magic" material, but he just seemed to be running through it,due I'm sure
to much internal strife in the band at that time...
Quite a shame really,I like Janick, but his prime time was cut short, unfortunately.
I'm sure he's happy these days though.
