The stuff on the EP is the best. If you add it all together it is just under 40 minutes. The DPAS was looking at issuing a CD quite a few years back. If I recall correctly, they were going to add some Shindigs tracks, but then there was some confusion over whether they had the right Shindigs. If there is nothing else, I think they should just release the obvious 40 minutes' worth. Do you know any more, Nigel?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jon G)Wed, 16 Mar 2005 00:21:12 +0000 Re: The Mazehttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p160566,from=rss#post160566https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p160566,from=rss#post160566quote:MrEd45 wrote: Sometime during 1966 The MI 5 People involved Chris Banham (kbr); Rod Evans (vcl); Eric 'Jack' Keene (bss); Roger Lewis (gtr); Ian Paice (drm). Reissue I believe! Anyway, whacked it on the turntable and gave it a spin. Wow! Great tunes! I'd forgotten how good this band were. The Harlem Shuffle is a cracking little track, and the ballad What Now is excellent. Great organ playing, and excellent vocals from Evans. Plus Paice on drums shows his early potential. Anyone else a fan of The Maze? What other recordings are there out there? My EP has 4 songs, Harlem Shuffle, The Trap, What Now and I'm So Glad. What else did they do, and is it available? nondisclosed_email@example.com (Rahul)Thu, 10 Mar 2005 22:17:32 +0000
