Yes i guess he did, and when i was wondering about tracking him down i always had in mind that he doesen´t want to be bothered ( or else he would have shown up and gave some interviews ) if the man want´s his peace he shoud be given it , but still i guess almost no one has low consideration for him nowadays , he has a lot of fans and it would be cool for him to know ( in case he doesen´t ) that a lot of people don´t care about the 80 incident and consider him a very important part of Deep Purple ! Still i think that he probably wandered trough the net browsing trough DP stuff and probably knew of the old boards ! I still have my full ticket to the bogus show and was glad it never happened,I knew there was something funny because I was following their solo projects at the time. It was Larry Rhino Reinhardt, who apparently contacted him asking if he was interested in joining the new edition of Captain Beyond. Unfortunately he was not interested. One other thins i was wondering , since the internet is such a common thing i belive that Rod wouldn´t resist to search "Deep Purple" or "Rod Evans" on any search engine, i mean he must know what´s going on with Purple.  The thing is , does he want to be found ? And if he doesen´t we should respect it ! But still it would be great to hear something from him ! Rock On Joao nondisclosed_email@example.com (JohnnyLucas)Tue, 11 May 2004 20:44:38 +0000
