The original recording of Hush?

I'm just reading the new DP book by Dave Thompson (which is quite good, gives a new fresh perspective to all things Purple) and what stopped me to think was the part where he tells that DP went to Trident Studios in late March/early April '68 and recorded their demo.
This same thing has of course been mentioned on the liner notes of remastered Shades of, but somehow it caught my eye this time.

The four songs on that demo were Hush, Love Help Me, Help and Shadows.
Three of those have been released with the remastered Shades of.

But has the original version of Hush ever been released?
And why not?

It would be great to have that original demo recording to be released in cd. emoticon

What are you talking about exactly?
The demo for Shadows was not under the name Deep Purple,it was in fact Roundabout.
The demo you speak of here, must've been sometime shortly after the Shadows demo was pressed, therefore containing it as a Deep Purple song within this four track demo EP?
(new to me,and I've known about the Roundabout demo since 1979)

You're right about that it was under the name of Roundabout, after all it was March of '68.
But in every source I have read it is said that they recorded those 4 songs in the same session.

And 3 of those four are included to the remastered Shades of, Shadows and the instrumental Love Help Me straight from the acetate and Help from a Danish tv source which used that demo. Only Hush is missing.

...kind of sketchy indeed, but I do know that all that was pressed was an acetate,so thats why it's taken straight from it.
This is probably the single rarest item in their history.(priceless, but I don't think I'd give up my Shades Of acetate for it,if I did,my promo and test pressings would get lonely)

Hush and Help demo, must've been where the transition was made to the name Deep Purple, but since I've never seen a picture of the 45 itself, revealing the label w/info as to what name it was under,I can't fairly comment.
