Wring that neck. They made it into a great playground for Jon and Ritchie in the early days. Matter of fact a norwegian band called Dream did a cover of this in 69. Issued as a single. Follows close to the original and is really cool

Re: Favorite Track on "The Book of Taliesyn"
I voted for "Playground", because I like the chord progression in the refrain (III-VII-IV-I), and though the organ wasn't doing much, the subtly of it's background fill is brilliant.
The bass work is what especially makes this song nice. I never felt that Nick Simper got enough credit for his work with DP.
However, had I not voted for "Playground", I'd have voted for "Listen, Learn, Read On".
COME ON YOU GUYS...THIS IS A GREAT SONG!! WHY HASN'T ANYBODY ELSE VOTED FOR IT?
Am I really that unusual a guy for liking this thing? I think what attracts me to it is the unusual lyrics, and the short choppy verses. And almost all of IP's work is on the snare drum. Very unusual rock song.
