Re: Shakula Kapur's Version of Hush-Opinions?

I've heard both Joe Souths and Billy Joe Royals versions of Hush...funny Purples version took after BJR's,it doesn't resemble it much at all.

If you guys see the Hush cd single in a 2nd hand store, pick it up. I've noticed it has become a sought after item.

The UK one.

This is what I heard, I'm not a collector myself.

Yes,the UK one is nice, but the Italian one is nicer..I like how it says on the sleeve,"no 1 bandiera gialla",and the flourescent purple sleeve with thier profiles is tastey.

I'm sure the most sought after mkI single these days is probably the U.S. version Kentucky Woman b/w WTN,this wasn't so hard to find back when I started off collecting, but it seems to be a very hard to find single lately.

From what I remember they were very mediocre. I was into britpop big time around 95 and Kula Shaker (Shakula Kapur sounds great - like some Indian Bollywood ultracheesy "movie star" emoticon ) were very much a second league band in my book, one year wonder or something. I found their cover horrible back then and never listened to it since.

Maybe that was your problem then :-)

I would not put Kula Shaker in that category and their version is very nice, IMHO.

Are you talking about KS or DP? I meant the KS's Hush single.

No. Hayley Mills' son and Juliet Mills' grandson.
