Shakula Kapur's Version of Hush-Opinions?

I don't know if I have the correct name of the band but they covered this old DP tune for the movie "I Know What You Did Last Summer".
I d/l it when I had a free trial with Rhapsody.com.

It rocks but I miss hearing the old version....is there a cd single of the original Hush? Another gem to add to my collection.... emoticon

Kula Shaker?

Great band, and a pretty good rendition of Hush. Crispian Mills is a big Deep Purple fan.

It's a good version. Very rock 'n' roll, which means it's not as funky as DP's version. They should have worked on the main riff though. Now it's only one chord all the way.

Kula Shaker were a great band and they did Hush justice with their version.
Crispen Mills is now in a band called The Jeevas. I dont know much about their music (yet) but here is the link to their website.

Kula Shaker...thank you!! I like their version of "Hush" and since Real.com didn't have the original version, I d/l that one instead.

Crispian Mills is Hayley Mills son and Juliet Mills nephew right?

Kula Shaker's version of "Hush" ain't that bad at all IMHO. But what I'd really like to know is, has anyone here heard the Joe South original version of the song?

The Jeevas are basically Kula Shaker MK2!

More psychedelic pop. Very listenable!

I loved Shaker's first album! Probably because it had such a retro feel to it. They had a lot going for them back in the mid 90s.

I agree: 'K' (Kula Shaker's first album) was awesome: one of the best rock albums, period.
