Re: How fit is your Purple releated collection?
I have a lot left to buy. Even my Rainbow collection ain't complete, as it's very hard to get a copy of Straight Between The Eyes on vinyl these days.
I've heard more or less all Gillan, and I'm afraid I don't care about most of it. Sorry.
For some reason I ain't got no Whitesnake at all. Could do with a recommendation, though.
No JLT either, except from the obvious.
But I'm about to dig into pre-Purple Hughes and Bolin, and I'm totally blown away with what I find. Also HTP sounds interesting indeed!

Hard?
I have it on vinyl, and I have seen it many times in second hand shops. Maybe Norway is different.

I also have Straight between the eyes on vinyl, but in Norway the situation may be different...

Perhaps sell some of your non-Purple stuff and then you could buy these?

Ok so maybe I went a "little" overboard on following the band trees, could go alot further for many of those, especially for the non-fit part. My record collection consists of roughly 6200 CD's and 500 vinyls currently, and most of those can be connected to each others starting from Deep Purple, Rainbow & Black Sabbath; the 3 bands that have been my favorites for the last 20 years or so.
