Well, compare the live songs on the Tour Ed. with Live In Europe '93. Who's the better?
Who cares?
Don't you know by now, how to enjoy more than one of the many styles of music, centered within the ethos of this band?
It's apples and oranges... have some spunk, try both, with an open mind, before you open your mouth, and taste what you already don't like... then complian in a place that consists of enthusiasm toward their entity, more so than not...
Can't say I believe you bought ROTD with much hope it would be any good, it's written all over here, so sad you waited longere than the refund policy allowed.
I guess when you hate something, you have to be careful what you say about it, in a public place, with alot of people who can care less.
This isn't a haters club, but you can find one somehewhere... I suggest you keep looking.

For your information, I have tasted both (apples and oranges, and bananas I might add) with an open mind, and I know what I like.
Did I ever said that I hate Purple?
Did I say that I bought the tour edition? Ever heard about Torrent?

Re: Rapture tour edition
Torrents?
Can't say I advocate any downloading of copyrighted materials there bud...
I'm not the least bit impressed.
Hatred for this line up, you've shown nothing but, and speaking of them in general, as if thats what I meant, is like putting words in my mouth, as I indicated no such thing...
I hope as an administrator of the DP Hub, that I know damn well what a torrent is... so go and download your 600 meg mp3 Deep Purple library, in one file... I hope the band eats well after that.
I'll stick to bootlegs, and purchasing of OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE, thanks.
I'll have no opinion from thieves.

Oh, you've got such high moral standards! I guess that Purple have earnt A LOT of money over the years from your "legal" bootlegs... I wonder why they have fought against bootlegs for so many years?
I guess we're both thievs then, wouldn't you say? It doesen't matter what you steal, one dollar or one million dollars, one mp3 or one bootleg- it's still stealing.
I think that the band will eat, and even drink, well even after someone (could be me, who knows?) have downloaded "600 meg mp3 in one file", or after someone (could maybe be you?) trades another bootleg. Deep Purple earn most of their money from liveshows anyway. They don't sell much records anymore, but the older ones still sell quite well. Go figure....
Don't bother to answer 'cause "I'll have no opinion from thieves"

Listen... you need a good long lesson on record collecting, before you say a damn thing to me about it.
I don't record bootlegs, if thats what you're on about... and NEVER ONCE have I or anyone that I know of, heard of DEEP PURPLE having one bad thing to say about BOOTLEGS.
In fact, they don't give a damn... and you can take that from the horse named Roger's mouth, who has told many people so, along with others from the band, and that is one fact of the matter.
I'm sure by now, you're realising that the least you've done, is confuse bootlegs with pirates... and if so, I'll give you that much, and that much only.
You don't have a clue what Purple sells...
If anything, they make more from DVD sales than CD's... going platinum in Australia is no sales flop.
(willling to debate this?)
Just don't talk to me about such things, you can't fight your way out of a paper bag with me, in any discussion we've had, so why keep trying?
Be nice now...

Yes, at least the cover says so. And there may be some cd drives where the copy protection works..

Cheers. I think I'll pass it then. Perhaps they'll put out a live dvd later.
