You fool no one! You’re as Morsified as Morsified Zombies get. Now, listen to the piles of crapture you mistake for brilliance then listen to Third Wish again, but pretend the band names are interchanged. If you still think your beloved piles of crapture are brilliant then you’ll be eradicated at dawn.

Still believe it...and I'm planning to be around to see tomorrow...unless you know something I don't emoticon

3rd Wish (I think I've heard it 3 times) is a decent attmept at an epic rocker. It builds nicely to a well constructed but predicatable conclusion. Musically it's very cliched...but its well done. Feinstein is definitely a good guitarist. The rythym section doesn't have a lot of feel...but I'm always spoiled by Paicey and Glover. As I've said..it's worth a listen...it's pretty good...

It doesn't hold a candle to Before Time Began, Junkyard Blues, MTV, Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, Things I Never Said, ROTD or Money Talks. In my not so humble opinion.

Keep spewing venom little man, I'll be back tomorrow....

Re: Remorseless Review of Crapture of the Shallow

I was just listening to the Cereal Additives CD and came across a song called "Sun Goes Down" and just had a moment of Major Cringe factor. Gillan sings a line that goes "All full up I can't take no more" and then lets loose with a groan that sounds as if his vagina were caught on a bed of nails as he wiggles it in his chair when that one over there goes vavoom. Then he begs for someone to kiss him. Not with that bloody vagina I don't.
 It's no wonder Blackmore left!!!!!!!!!

Gillan is cool. Blackmore has a tendency to dress in tights and pretend he is Robin Hood. Like you said, no wonder he quit! Gillan was obviously not wanting to be Maid Marion...

Third Wish is one of my favorite songs. Classic heavy rock will never be out of style. Bassist Jeff Howell and drummer Nate Horton provide a high level of energy and compliment Dave’s playing throughout this metal masterpiece. Paicey and Glover haven’t sustained such energy on a studio record since Machine Head.

‘Real’ fans recognize that the official death of Deep Purple occurred with the snobbish and self-indulgent hiring of a southern rock guitarist to replace the greatest hard rock guitarist ever. Blind worshippers refuse to accept that the Morse Masquerade has been an undeniable failure. It has never worked and will never work.

Bloody Vaginas? I think you just stumbled on a new name for the current lineup. Music for the pussy-whipped by the pussy-whipped.

‘Real’ fans are Feinstein fanatics. Third Wish rocks!!!

Re: Remorseless Review of Crapture of the Shallow

The sun rose today in the lovely burgh of Roanoke VA...and I rose from my slumber...grateful to be able to listen to all eras of Deep Purple while I knock around the Internet for a few minutes...

I listened to Sun Goes Down...I didn't find that cringe worthy at all. Not sure where Rithie's Strat became familiar with that vaginal sound...I've certainly never heard it...is this a personal experience? At least your fellow Blackmoron seems to be familiar...perhaps a trip to the Dr is needed for the both of you..just to be on the safe side.

The scream on Girls Like That is a bit cringe worthy though I must admit....

It's not like you can't go back and find cringe wrothy moments from all of our Purple heroes (and villains for some) scattered through....

Blackmore's musical history is full of cringe moments. Just to name a few...

Stranded from BOOS...(who's idea was it to repeat the title fo the song and the riff 8 times b4 the solo and eight times at the end of the song...it sucked the first time... I didn't need to hear it 15 more times)

Power
Rock Fever
Tite Squeeze
Call of the Wild and Lick it Up (well the whole band gets credit here
90% of BN material

Playing is almost always brilliant...song writing...major cringe factors abound for Blackers....

This pic on this string below sums up how far Mr Blackmore has fallen...jumping the shark...he's done landed in the tank....or the pig pen emoticon

Cute Little Piglets? The Roanoke Redneck has also stumbled on another appropriate new name for the current lineup featuring the three little pigs: Ian ‘Silent Oinker’ Gillan, Roger ‘Prozac Piggie’ Glover and Steve ‘Boar Bore’ Morse!
