Three points REMORSELESS:

To his credit, Ritchie Blackmore is not using the Deep Purple or Rainbow band names to release his medieval music with Candice Night.

Slaves & Masters, Burpindicular, [sign in to see URL] Respirators, Vegetables, and Crapture of the Shallow are all albums should never have been released using the Deep Purple banner.

Yeah but they were... so get over it.

Realistically, if you hate the current line up so much, why even bother putting yourself through the pain of listening to it? Also, why bother even commenting on this forum about them? It all seems a bit pointless! I don't particularly like JLT-era Rainbow but I certainly don't bother going on to a Rainbow forum constantly banging about how much I hate them simply because it is a waste of time. For me and for the people reading it. Anyhoo do what you gotta do mate.

The Crazed Crappers are using the Deep Purple name to release their crapture and are obstacles in preventing a legitimate lineup from reuniting if only for a few concerts.

With whom on guitar...?? Blackmore is happy doing what he is doing.

On a side note, I like the way you've managed to avoid quoting me on my initial response to you! Was it a bit close to the truth...!!!

You figured it out. I’m really the Legendary Rod Evans and I will be back!!!

Gee, now we´re talking! Are you the same Rod Evans who recently wrote to the Highway Star Stuff:

Dear HighwayStars,
Although I left Deep Purple in 1980 after our successful North American tour,
I’m still the original singer - founder member, you know. I’m told that
David Cloverdale and Ian Gillian get more press than I do, but that’s what
happens when you go “underground.”
Now I hear the guys are having a big to-do in Switzerland where our Burn album was recorded, and former members are invited to make appearances. I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step out of the shadows and recognize my part in the Deep Purple history.
Therefore, should you have any interest, I’d be very interested in joining
the band onstage in Montreux. As you know, I can sing anything, but I
might suggest a medley of Love Help Me, Hey Bop a Re Bop and April. You do remember, Glenn Hughes wrote these.
Here’s my phone number: xxxxxxxx [edited by the editors(!)].

Kind regards,
Rod Evans

P.S.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could get more people together? I’ve always
wanted to meet Tommy Bolin.

Sure sounds as if it was you! emoticon

Alistair, reasoning with remorseless is just not a real fruitful enterprise.

Anyway, I tried blowing myself up on the 4th of July but my Zombie body [sign in to see URL] then enjoyed a tasty sampling of DP including Purpendicular and Bananas.

Fine records [sign in to see URL] equal (or close to the equals) to any post-reunion Blackmore Purple in my not so humble opinon.
