Golly are we being to ruff on old Remo... emoticon

Last time I checked, he's wished for my demise and/or insulted me in every post in this string. If I had any sense Id let him rant away in a vaccum...

I can abide that he doesn't like Morse era material...that's opinion and we've all got one...

I can't abide the fact he constantly insults those who don't share his hatred for Morse era material.

Especially since his arguments are usually off the wall...like his current obsession with a Mark 3 reunion.

Now I need to go and meet my wife for lunch so I can ensure I don't end up lonely and bitter...:-)

I guess when the current Purple wraps it up, Jon Lord will be pushing eighty. Can anyone picture him doing Speed King at that age, drooling over his Hammond with two nurses standing next to him trying to prevent him from falling, and feeding him medicine to keep him going?

If you think that´s what B.B. King(pushing 80) looks like at the moment, I think you should look again.

Well, B.B. looks quite good, but then again he don't do Speed King...

If you acknowledge that HOBL and S&M were, for want of a better word, ****e... what does that make Blackmore? He wrote the albums.

Ritchie has gone through phases in his career. I was very concerned when Deep Purple finally reunited that he would Rainbowize the band. Fortunately, Perfect Strangers was worthy of Purple’s legacy. Unfortunately, no album since has been worthy of the Deep Purple name.

Guess you haven't heard much live stuff from Glenn recently? He never know when to shut up, and Blackmore would be pissed after a couple of songs wondering "Why the hell did I do this? Again?".

I have heard Glenn’s recent albums and would be concerned. However, I’m confident though that he knows what would be expected of him.

What makes you think now would be any different than the last several Blackers rock records? I'd certainly purchase it if it came out, but my expectations would be low...

Blackmore’s backup musicians have tried carrying on without him twice and humiliated themselves both times. Ritchie made the successful transition from commercialized rubbish to classic heavy rock for Perfect Strangers. Being an eternal optimist loved by you Morsified Zombies the world over, I’m certain he could make the successful transition from medieval music back to classic heavy rock.

Politically, I’m right of center and despise right and left wing extremists that are destroying our country. I have zero tolerance towards compromised music be it JLT era Rainbow or the Crazed Crappers

The Silent Screamer can’t perform to standards expected of ‘real’ fans and the Prozac Kid hasn’t had a single creative idea since Ritchie disbanded Purple. The last two Mark II albums were bitter disappointments. It’s Mark III’s time to reunite.

Well, it would've been interesting to hear what they could come up with....

Btw, I don't agree with you on the Glover subject. I think that his creativity is not being used properly since they brought in an excuse for a producer... Not Glovers fault!!

Im glad your optimistic...but there is NOTHING that would lead any reasonable perosn to conclude any rock recording Blackmore would make wouldn't stink.

Obviously, you’re a FAMZOD – Fat Assed Morsified Zombie on Drugs. Unlike you, I have heard each of the Blackmore’s Night albums in their entirety. As Ritchie has said, there’s no continuity on the Blackmore’s Night albums with folk and rock songs.

Some of the rock songs are very good and rearranged with Dio would kick ass. In other words, there’s no reason to believe that Ritchie could not successfully make the transition back to hard rock.

Fortunately the band still cranks out some great music...both live and studio..I think mainly because Blackmore is NOT involved. As a rock songwriter...he really hasn't had more than one or 2 truly original musical ideas on any album since HOBL.

The Crazed Crappers have consistently cranked out sophomoric music for mindless Morsified Zombies that’s even worse than JLT era Rainbow. In contrast, Ritchie is still a very imaginative musician.

Of course you are happy with a half decent HM band Feinstein cranking through some cliched Heavy metal over Purple... and you question my status as a real fan.

I'm just sorry you can't appreciate a fine record like ROTD or Purpendicular.

Once again, you’re commenting on an album that you haven’t heard in its entirety. Third Wish has been called one of the most spectacular debut albums ever and the metal album of the year. There’s absolutely nothing clichéd about classic heavy rock, but commercialized foolishness like Fruity Vegetables and Crapture of the Shallow were never in style.

Have you heard Roger ‘I think I got my sh*t together’ Glover’s Snapshot album? The only decent song is the one that the Prozac Kid didn’t write.

The only fingers that point to drugs here, are pointed straight at you remoron... in case anyone was wondering what a cocktail of Viagra and Prozac, topped off with a meth laced glass of Anti-Freeze is like, just ask this one dimentional crusader hader, who isn't here for any other purpose than to slander a good bands name, for the sake of one or maybe two of their former members, and anybody who agrees with him.
(so far, I haven't counted 10 people that do, and thats probably why he has never posted so much before, and actually stayed to hash it out in a thread he starts, unlike what he used to always do)
He will tell you the same stuck on stupid line of bullsh1t as ever, if we could only see his blank stare, while he types his drug induced repetitive nonsense. emoticon

Well, just because you don't like it, doesen't mean it's crap. Some people may like it!?! I haven't heard it (yet).

I think that Glover would be much more creative if he got the job of a producer again instead of that moron who are producing them today.

Re: Remorseless Review of Crapture of the Shallow

Snapshot is great stuff, if arranged a bit out of whack.
I think he and "the guy that wrote "QOE" compliment each other perfectly.
That track has been on the playlist every day since it came out, at my local classic rock station, ironically enough... it hooked someone, I hear it every day in the car still.

A buy is a risk everyone takes, there is no description from the consumer, worth listening to, unless it's handled constructively, otherwise it's just a waste of valuble energy, hence the redundancy of the hader crusader.

Tell the artists by way of clever networking, but leave the fans out of it, most don't want to be beaten down with what others think about them, for what they choose to listen to.

Take some consumer advice for the right reasons Richard, and stop buying Purples current output, so you can stop having something to complain about, and if you're stealing it from the internet, it doesn't do any good to waste your time, you do nothing but prove that, everytime you post in this forum, which seems to have consumed you lately, it must be boring as ever in that hell hole down there...
