Re: Funeral Music

A holy song emoticon because that's the only kind of music we're allowed to play at a catholic funeral in Ireland.

Re: Funeral Music

I don't plan on having a funeral. But if I ever did, the people organising it could play whatever they wanted, I'd be dead so why should I care?

a) Cremation for you to, Meadows? I just know I'm not getting shoved into a hole in the ground. I got my fill of occupying holes in the ground while in the Marines. emoticon
I guess being in ashen form inside of an urn somewhere isn't much better, or getting spread over a piece of the land or sea much effectively different than being buried...well, about the whole burial/cremation thing I guess I agree with and will steal the very last sentence of Meadows' post - 'I'd be dead so why should I care?'. emoticon

b) Well, if the people in charge of mine follow my last orders regarding the music program - that would certainly be at least a nice gesture, even if I never really know or not.
There's just that teensy-weensy part of me that wants to leave room for the possibility they I will know whether they do or not emoticon ...all I'll say is that if that is the case, my ghostly wrath will be a terrible thing to behold. emoticon

Re: Funeral Music

my number one choice would be the theme music to tv`s "match of the day"...for uk users familiar with this theme that would be quite a hoot...
