Re: Funeral Music
Interesting survey but I think I would prefer to stick to something classic.
That is unless the crem is by some water, then I might just ask for something a little more familiar.

Re: Funeral Music
Mmmmhhh I miss Bach´s Air and I think that Mozart´s Requiem might be a tad bit too dramatic(if it´s the Lacrymosa movement, that is).
But the prospect of having Eric Idle singing Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life through the speakers on my funeral makes me almost looking forward to my own death!

Re: Funeral Music
I have it in my will that the final piece of music to be played at my funeral is the Looney Tunes theme that finishes with Porky Pig saying "B..B..B.. thats all folks!"
Wether it'll ever happen remains to be seen. But I won't be around to know anyway, so who cares?

a) I agree, Bob. In which case I might choose "The Funeral March of The Marionettes" by Charles Gounod...more popularly recognized as the theme music to the old "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" television program.
b) Agreed again, Bob. In this case, "Rest In Peace" by Mott The Hoople.
