Dance Of Death vs Brave New World

this is a comparison in the order the tracks are in each album.

1. Wicker Man vs Wildest Dreams = Wicker Man
2. Ghost Of The Navigator vs Rainmaker = Draw
3. Brave New World vs No More Lies = No More Lies
4. Blood Brothers vs Monstegur = Blood Brothers
5. Mercenary vs Dance Of Death = Dance Of Death
6. Dream Of Mirrors vs Gates Of Tomorrow = Dream Of Mirrors
7. The Fallen Angel vs New Frontier = New Frontier
8. The Nomad vs Pashendale = Pashendale
9. Out Of The Silent Planet vs Face In The Sand = Draw
10. The Thin Line Between Love And Hate vs The Age Of Innocence = The Thin LIne Between Love And Hate
11. Thin LIne Between Love And Hate vs Journeyman = Journeyman

I think thats a fair comparision!

(dance of death has 1 more track than BNW so i had t compare 2 tracks to the last one on BNW)

I personally feel that Dance of Death is what the band has been trying to do since Virtual XI.

Re: Dance Of Death vs Brave New World

Both very average albums with Dance Of Death bordering on crap on some songs, bland, uninspired, unmelodic and full of rehashed ideas. I'll probably take Brave New World over the new one as it is slightly better but I feel the band has lost all sense of direction, they were probably better off with Bailey as back then they were at least doing something valid, going against the current and fighting for some credibility. The X-Factor, hardly the best Maiden album ever, pisses all over the last two and that says it all for me.

I hate both, but Dance Of Death is starting to grow on me...A bit..

1. Wicker Man- still hate this track though but Wildest Dreams is just the definition of !@#$
2. Rainmaker- Ghost is the definition of boring
3. Tie- Equally crappy
4. Blood Brothers I guess- They sound similar
5. Dance Of Death- Mercenary is very bad
6. Dream Of Mirrors although its getting boring
7. Tie- Another equally !@#$ comparison
8. Pacshendale- Best track on DOD destroys the barfable nomad
9. tie- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING
10. Thin Line by a thin line over Age of innocense(horrible track)
11. Journey man-second best on DOD
