Collaborations that could have been...
I remember reading one of your interviews a while back (circa 2001/2002) when you got the Yngwie job where you mentioned that you had several offers from Ritchie clones what with Rainbow folding but turned them all down.
It would be very interesting to know who these names was (probably because I know I have their albums! ) and who you almost ended up working with...

Morning,
I did indeed get offers from guitarists who are like Ritchie in style. I chose not to accept any of the offers as I had worked with the guitarist I considered to be the best. I wanted to move away from that style of music and try something else.
"THAT WORKED THEN".
But I cant say who these guys/girls were, that would be unfair. Who knows I may work with some of them one day.
One I will mention is Walter Giardino. He is from the band RATA BLANCA in Argentina. We have written some songs together and the plan is to do an album at some point.
