I just purchased a pack of blank VCR tapes - should give me enough time to open them before Christmas.. emoticon

It's Gillan, not Gillian.

Whoah!! 21 years of being a Deep Purple fan, and I just noticed this for the first time, after reading your reply.

Damn! Now....ahhhmm; that's kind of embarassing, now isn't it? Kind of like saying:

Lead Zepplin
John Lord
Ian Pace.

And I'm still not 100% sure...is it Ritchie Blackmore, or Richie Blackmore. I know them better by verbal pronounciation than by spelling.

It just goes to show, that if I'm going to get on a website and spout off in front of 200+ people worldwide, I'd better know how to use grammar correctly.

Thanks for pointing this out, I must change my spelling in my quotation!!

I don't think Ri(t)chie is sure, either!

Re: Adjusting "post times"

I remember reading somewhere - I'm not sure when - about the "t" in Blackmore's name. Whether it was added mistakenly by someone else and he just it looked cooler at the time, or something. I understand that he goes back and forth between using in his autographs - sometimes with a "t", sometimes without.
Maybe Brian or Larry has had a gander at his legal identification? My gut feeling is that it's probably without the "t" on his birth certificate, for instance.

Yes, there is surely no "T" in his birth certificate. Nobody writes "Ritchard". Looks very strange!
