Jon Lord and the Hell Blues Band

Appearantly Jon Lord played there together with Chris Farlowe and his band. Legends joining forces, wonderful! Would be interesting to hear.

Norman Beaker is not a bad guitarist after all. And a very funny bloke as well. And Chris [sign in to see URL], I better don´t stop before I´m not able to stop! emoticon

I´m sure they delivered a superb rendition of Stormy Monday!

norman was great, and when io showed him the stuff i filmed from the LCD on the camera he said while watching himself: "who's that good looking bastard?"
and miller said: (who didn't watch) "bernie?"
and they all laughed ... hehe... was quit fun when it happened.
it's a nice bootleg from a kickass show emoticon

With Chris Farlowe I´m some kinda expert, you should know!emoticon
I´ve seen him with the Norman Beaker Band in May.
But it would be good if you could find that out.

yeah, i'll do that...
actually 2 1/2 songs was missing from the complete show on the recording. because i had to change tape 2 times.
and according to a little expert (like you) that might help me with the setlist, said the two songs was the best ones... so i had kinda bad luck there.
 - one of them was with just norman beaker band, and chris was not on stage. the first song of the show, the second one missing was right before jon came on stage.
 - the 3rd one before SOTW was performed.

Hard to tell as they change the setlist frequently. As Chris toured with them Norman Beaker always sang the first song which was something by his band(could be Option On You Baby). The second one could have been "I Don't Wanna Sing The Blues No More", "Tough On Me, Tough On You", or "Blues As Blues Can Get". However I´m quite sure, that all of these have been performed at some point in the set.

Re: Jon Lord and the Hell Blues Band

yes, could be...
but the show went on like this:

norman beaker band did 2 songs,
and then chris came on.
they did maybe 45 mins and then Jon Lord and Miller came on.
chris left.
after another 10 (maybe) bernie came on.
they did some songs and chris came back again.
chris left again before SOTW.

hehe... probably won't tell you much out of this... lol... sorry... just more confusing io guess...
