Re: Live in Concert 72/73 North American Release Date:
Yeah, my copy usually freezes up at the END of the Mule. And the Gillan post Mule speech freezes up as well. But if I hit the skip button it usually goes to Lazy just fine. I'll probably just keep the DVD and someday pick up a new one if Eagle vision ever gets around to fixing the problem.
But I did contact the folks at Eagle vision. The woman in change told me to return it directly to her and she would send me a new copy.
Here is where to send it:
Eagle Rock Entertainment
22 West 38th Street
7th Floor
New York, NY 10018

Re: Live in Concert 72/73 North American Release Date:
I finally ordered a copy from Amazon. As of 19Nov none of the stores in my area had a copy. One video store said it was supposed to arrive aprox 3 weeks ago but hasn't yet. I wonder what the hold up is?

Re: Live in Concert 72/73 North American Release Date:
I just got my copy from Amazon and it is nearly unwatchable - . I had heard there was a skip or two right around The Mule and Lazy but Space Truckin' is screwed as well. The new York segment plays fine - do you think I have a defective DVD?
TIA

Unwatchable for a couple of skips? Or is there something else as well?
If there are faults in your copy, you should ask for another copy. They usually replace bad discs.
I think these shows are of truly great quality. But of course it is related to one's expectations.
Some of the false edits (where music and image don't fit together) on the NY tracks are down to the tv-company. Havenät noticed any faults in the Copenhagen show.

No, my copy has skips or freezes that last minutes. I'm going to send it back for a replacement. Thanks for the help.

Hopefully they'll go along with it, they should.
I've had the 'freezing' problem only with dvdrs, so it's good to know that originals can do the same. Thanks!
