Re: New Live DVD.
Speaking of concert videos,
A quote from the Darker than Blue magazine:
The NOBODY'S HOME video was shot on March 5th 1985 at the Civic Centre in Providence Rhode Island. They filmed the FULL show for MTV. It was never screened. However Space Truckin' from the gig was aired on French TV and is just as good as the Nobody's Home clip. There is a real edge to the number, good sound and mix too.
I hope this show will be released someday, maybe as part of a DP DVD set.

There are a few shows from '84 to '87 that were filmed.
Australia '84 (Black Night on NL&R DVD)
Providence RI '85 (Nobody's Home & Space Truckin from French TV)
Somewhere in US summer '85 (Space Truckin from NL&R DVD)
Paris France both nights in July (2nd night broadcast and we all have this)
One how in '87 (clips shown on Grey Whistle Test with Blackmore the only one who shows up for encore also clips of Unwritten Law all filmed by television crew)

That show was never filmed in its entirety, in fact the only clip they got on camera was the Blackmore one playing SOTW for a few secs (without the rest of the band).
According to DPAS, the Whistle Test people were told they could film the encores only and the band then proceeded not to do any just to spite them (bad blood between Gillan and the TV show since 1985).

Are you sure? In the recent Darker Than Blue Glover mentioned that it was filmed. Also, they showed clips from the Unwritten Law on that show.

Re: New Live DVD.
That's not the same show, the one with Blackmore playing the SOTW riff without the band is Paris while the other one is a prior German gig (Cologne if I remember well), which again was not filmed in its entirety.

Re: New Live DVD.
They did some nights at Wembley in 1987,any of them filmed?
I'm speaking of course of the footage that exists of them for an MTV guest vj spot.
I'm not certain if the whole show was filmed or not,but judjing by the looks of the undertaking(from the footage)it very well was,or could have been.
I used to have a copy of the guest vj spot, there was plenty of footage from backstage to on stage to a limo ride through London,to the hotel...
and some shots of them in the snow, during a ski trip.
