Doubt if this will be a best-seller!
Though, IF it was one minute of original MiJ footage (I presume it isn't), would you buy it? Just to get a glimpse of the greatest gig ever?
Yeah, no doubt about it!!

That link has been updated. It looks like a ripoff DVD again. Go see for yourself.

...unlike you appreciate this kind of stuff. It's a matter of taste, I think. As long as you're not being fooled into believing this more than it is. Cos it's not, on that we agree.

Re: MIJ dvd ???
Look at the track list, half of those songs weren't on Made In Japan. I Think this DVD is a Joke. If there going to do a DVD of Made In Japan. Do it like they did The Machine Head DVD. That I would love to see. To hear from Blackmore/Gillan/Glover/Lord/Paice on the making of that album would be cool.

Re: MIJ dvd ???
Everybody knows that the concert in Japan in 1972 wasn't filmed. So, there's no need to give attention to this DVD.

Just a side note. I contact those responsible for the Making of Machine Head DVD and there are no other Puprle titles currently in the works. I know there were some hping to see one done for Burn. But not any time soon I am afraid.

Re: MIJ dvd ???
Of course this is a joke!!!
The makers of this DVD could have at least made it interesting.
Do a Jimmy Page number on it and make it sell.
Just use the MIJ soundtrack as your starting point, then add in the visuals (1972/73 stuff) too sync them up cleaverly. Throw in some pictures and interviews to fill it out and then at least you have something fun to look at.
I'd really love to see a video made of MIJ's "Highway Star." The best live recording in the history of man, with visuals. GOLD!!!
