Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
There are audience recorded DVDs back to 84 at least. If there any before, then I havent heard of them yet. The 93 tour is well covered and there even a couple of Satch shows floating around. I have audience DVDs from 87-93-94-99-00-02-03&04. Especialy the new tour is very well covered and quality is picking up too.Toronto 04 is amazing and the NYC nights are good recordings too. There a new version of NYC 1-3-04 making the round now, a 2 cam mix.
So basicly, yes, they are out there......

Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
so following on from that theme is there anybody out there able to provide copies of these in the european format or at least provide us with a clue as to where to look for them.i know that they are out there but i have been caught out before, paying large amounts of cash for people to sell me very poor quality videos at very inflated prices.i know that you pay the price and take your chances and that these people are probably doing there utmost to provide the best quality goods that they can with the material that they have at their disposal but i really dont want to provide e- bayers a living at my expense any more for no return

Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
thanks to detlef and kick for their suggestions, perhaps i should have explained that i am a complete non-understander of all things technical and have no idea how to download stuff.when i have tried i have no idea where it goes but i do know that it does not end up in front of my eyes or ears and i am not ashamed to admit that.the e-bay dvd is material that i already have on video of a fairly poor standard and i would have loved to buy-now as the standard may have been better but unfortunately it us in ntsc format which is the problem that i seem to have for anything recently listed.perhaps a poor choice of equipment i guess

Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
To add to detlefs comments, there is also a 3 cam mix for the first night at the Beacon,I'm currently working on making the 2004 double dvd's into one dvd versions with actual track by track picture menus, including the Toronto gig, these usually turn out excellent, the tapers really need to start producing these shows as well as taping them, then I wouldn't have to do this.

Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
If you want to save your self some trouble then skip Toronto, I allready did that one. its still on 2 DVDs as I didn't want to cut back on quality. The Lizzy set is fully seperated from Purps set. You can downlolad this at STG if you want.

Re: Rare Bootleg DVD's
Thanks detlef, but since I moved to this area,I can't get broadband yet,due to the wrong wiring in this neighborhood,as soon as it's availible I will get it.
The Toronto dvd is shaping up nicely, and the first night at the Beacon is done,I don't notice any difference in the quality, but you probably would, since you have a better sense of technology than I do.
I don't trade dvd's due to not having a burner yet,I do the work accross the river at my brothers house,I would trade using his equipment, but it would be a major hassle,he lives too far away to coordinate it,if only I was laid off from the job, then I would go crazy,I do plan on having a dvd burner no later than July,by then I will be
able to get more involved.
I already have a bunch of excellent dvd producing software programs, waiting to put to good use.
