Still the only movie monster - well, since the 'thing in the closet' in that all-time 'grade z' classic, "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", which I saw for the first time when I was 7 - that absolutely put the !@#$ up my spine...and still does! I swear, if I came face-to-face with one of those 'Alien' sunsofbitches, I'd probably just send an irrevocable command to my heart to cease all functions - immediately! 
Anyhoo, here's how I rate the "Alien" movies:
Aliens - The most exciting of all of 'em! After a half hour 'build-up', the intensity is simply non-stop! One of the best sci-fi movies ever made.
Alien Ressurection - Fantastic! If it's to be the final chapter of the 'Alien/Ripley' story, it certainly measures up.
Alien - Great movie, just to 'pokey' at times...almost like Scott couldn't decide exactly what kind of movie he wanted to make...it's 'inspiration', "It - The Thing From Beyond Space" is worth checking out, too.
Alien vs. Predator - A LOT better than I thought it would be! Though in my mind, there's really no doubt about which would/will ultimately win the (supposedly) ancient rivalry/battle...'Predator' kicks ass!
Alien3 - It's at 5th not because it's the 'worst' of the series, or anything like that. Just that something had to be 5th!
