Re: Buy any new albums lately?

Too many to list (i've recently stumbled upon 2 record stores that sell used cds for between $2 and $4, so i've been completing bands' catalogs), but as for current ones i've paid full price for:

Megadeth - Unplugged In Boston
Iron Maiden - Rock In Rio
           The Book Of Souls
           The Book Of Souls (Live)
           Brave New World
           Killers
A Matter Of Life n Death
           Senjutsu
Tom Petty - Angel Dreams

Cool, Iron Maiden haul, I still don't have "Brave New World" and "Senjutsu" and you now have one of the best "double album in metal" thats THE BOOK OF SOULS, in my opinion.

Brand new vinyl
THE CARS - Shake It Up

With that 10", my WHOOSH! collection is now complete!

CDs:
ZEPHYR - bought this because of Tommy Bolin
GARY MOORE - Blues Alive
IRON MAIDEN - No Prayer For the Dying - I bought this on cassette tape in the early 1990s when it got stuck in the player, never bought another copy, I haven't heard this in about 30 years!

Brand new vinyl.
NEIL YOUNG - Comes A Time
QUEEN - Queen
DEEP PURPLE - Machine Head
IRON MAIDEN - Senjutsu

The artwork of "Senjutsu" is awesome, the cover and gatefold is a masterpiece, I wish Deep Purple would release something like this.

The album is stellar, especially the 2nd half. I'm new to both of them, but i prefer this to Book Of Souls.

Hell On Earth is something special.

Yes - The Quest
Dream Theater - A View From the Top Of the World
Mastodon - Hushed and Grim
Joe Bonamassa - Time Clocks

I hadn't realized that JB was releasing a new album and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it on the "new" rack next to the other 3 (The Quest was delayed for weeks, at least in these parts) at my local shop.

I still have to give all 4 releases more time, but after a couple spins through each, it's Time Clocks that stands out to me. Really solid JB effort.
