Re: Does Zep Ever Copy DP?
As I'm sure most will agree they haven't heard any booing at Morse, atleast not to the extent of ever mentioning it.
Anyone who read MK2forevers not so grand piece of work in reviewing the fabulous UA show in 98,that I attended and happened to have been in his general seating area...he's full of sh1t...no such audience participation occured on that night,it was easily the wildest Purple crowd I've ever been in.(damn near a riot)
(no shoes were thrown at Morse as he contended either)

True, but to be completely fair to the DP story, Morse did not pick up with DP right after their wild success around the MiJ era. There was no such thing as "DP hysteria" or anything like it at the time or since. Hughes and Coverdale had much more expectation on them.
Don't get me wrong. I am a BIG fan of MK Morse, and am glad that DP is still going strong. Yet, it is unfair to compare the general reaction to Morse vs. Hughes/Coverdale.

I don't know that I can entirely agree with that,or if it even lends much to my point.
As we're in times with the current line up,and the rest is focused on previous stats.
I didn't mean anything to do with popular status on that scale, but how can you argue with success of one campared to failure of the other?
(as far as continued acceptence)

This goes hand in hand with some Blackmorenatics who do not want to see or can't accept the fact that DP can be successful or producing good music without the man. You can nit pick all you want about his playing, but somewhere along the line during the live show he is (ie. Morse) going to shut you up and turn heads.

Well I can tell you that I know damn well who you are,and that you don't have a word of evidence supporting a word Richard Feldman wrote, you just get your jollies trolling, period.
Being there would be your only wisdom concerning this situation of which you don't have a goats sense about...
Btw,MrEd...he didn't review it under the name MKIIForever..the very review I speak of is right under his real name, and here is the link to the review that seems no longer available.
(and do some troll patrol,please)
