My DVD player is only approximately 12 months old and the Machine Head DVD is the only disc it refuses to play, it's very strange indeed. I have never altered the player in any way, shape or form so I am at a complete loss mate.
I have only seen the Classic Albums MH show once on TV here in Australia and I am itching to see it again because I missed bits and pieces of the show.
I am borrowing my sisters DVD player on the weekend so I will what happens.
Well if the tv broadcast in australia was the same as what was broadcast on british tv,
then i am afraid that you will have more than bit's and pieces to catch up with,
quite a lot more on the dvd, so that may make it well worth searching out.
Hope that helps.

Re: Classic Albums - Machine Head DVD . .
When they're talking about "Never Before" there's some live footage going on while the song plays...does anyone know where its from? I know its not from the Machine Head Live 1972 dvd but I'm not sure if its from the very brief footage in Japan either...never seen it anywhere else and I don't think its from Hits, History and Highlights either...

Re: Classic Albums - Machine Head DVD . .
Just rip the damn thing off YouTube for the moment, man.
Convert it to avi with FormatFactory and there you go : )
If it is uploaded in mp4, first convert to FLV and after that from flv to avi.
Cheers!
Btw, I do own the VHS I once recorded from tv, 2 copies on DVD and.....No, thats about it.
