I like most of the songs from "Come taste the band". I even like them played live on "Russian Foxbat". But Mark IV didn't shine when they played tunes from the Blackmore era.nondisclosed_email@example.com (bernie)Sun, 11 May 2008 10:12:00 +0000 Re: Mk 4 On You Tubehttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p395231,from=rss#post395231https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p395231,from=rss#post395231quote:Jim Sheridan wrote: TB had PLENTY of finest hours. Not Bolin's finest hour by far. I wish that instead of this, they would find footage from Australia of Mark IV. Goes for Coverdale too. And it's also clear that Tommy was totally uninterested to do 'Smoke On The Water'. I mean: he immediately started the riff, no fooling around first, hence no anticipation in the audience. And hey, he played the riff pretty bad too. Bolin seemed to have a habit of wandering around the stage as if he was never quite sure where or what he was doing. You wouldnt say he commanded the audience.
