PURPLE ON ROCKLINE TONIGHT!!!

In the Bay Area I called the station 107.7 THE BONE today, and the disc jockey said they don't broadcast Rockline on Wednesdays. Boo!!!

Perhaps listening online will work: (make sure to sign up ahead of time)

Any good questions for Glover & Morse?

Pretty good so far except for the fact that they are playing Hush. A song that only Ian Paice was involved in. Ian Paice is not at the Rockline Interview. Strange choice.

I tried to get a question on the air, but they turned me down.

My question: Roger, what are your thoughts on WDWTWA.

That's what I was just thinking.

It's great to hear the new stuff over the air waves or in my case online.
Money Talks is such a powerful and cool song.

As someone on the "The Thrill Is Wearing Off" thread in the ROTD section pointed out, a couple of the bigger questions were "what do you think of not being inducted into the Hall of Fame?" where Roger's response was something in the vein of "we don't even think about that much, as we're a band in the now, not the past." As for any future live recordings, he basically hinted that while it wasn't up to them, per se, it was most likely inevitable that a new live recording would come out eventually.

The only ROTD songs they played in their entirety were Girls, Money Talks, CQA & Back to Back. They gave 10 second samples of WM, ROTD, Before Time Began (psssh! They should've played this whole song and bumped B2B) & KTG.

I got through to the screener (who reworded how I should pose my inquiry) with my question on if they forsee including Before Time on their tour, but once I heard the sample of the song played while I was on hold, I figured I wouldn't get through and hung up.

One discouraging thing I heard, however, at least for us in the states ... in a response to a question on when the states should expect to see them, Roger replied that he believes in August (which doesn't jive with the March I've read about). Hopefully, it'll be more towards March than August.
