Deep Purple is the only remaining hard rock pioneer!!!
With Black Sabbath (along with Blondie & Lynyrd Skynyrd) being inducted, only Deep Purple is the only remaining member of the unholy trinity of hard rock and heavy metal pioneers that includes Led Zeppelin.
Hopefully next year they will be inducted.

I've been tot he Rock and Roll hall of fame and it's a commercial load of crap that has nothing to do with the spirit of rock...
It's like winning a grammy...oh Jethro Tull won one of those....
