Re: The Deep Purple 72/73 DVD
I first viewed the concert when it was just over a decade old,by then it seemed ancient, due to how much music was accomplished in those days,in such little time,as now, nothing seems to progress near as fast.

Re: The Deep Purple 72/73 DVD
DUH ME! I posted a new thread about this exact DVD. I should've read the older threads.
Anyway, I had a chance to view this DVD and I thought it was fantastic! I watched it several times with and w/o the commentary.
'Tis a shame these are the only official live documented films of the classic MK II lineup.

There are more: I believe the next dvd is in the works (and certainly hope so!).
The other surviving material is bits of shows, not full shows.

But atleast 80% of that, has already been enjoyed for years...in the trash it will go,to make room for this improved product that will see a proper release.
Such as Copenhagen and Hofstra have...

Re: The Deep Purple 72/73 DVD
I'd seen this I think this is B&W concert in Denmark with some bunch of kids on the sideline. It's really good.
The color version, the NY concert, in '73, I think by this time the band is really stressed by too much touring.
