First question: I don't know, but if somebody does please tell us.
Second: as far as I know the Copenhagen gig is the only MK II live show shot from start to finish. There are other few live bits here and there, but not a full gig. Sad, I know.

The video you speak of was on the Highway Star website a few years ago. The clip was part of a recent (at the time) news report from Germany I think. And it included a clip of DP doing HS during the day. And I believe Gillan had a beard. It was mentioned in a post here recently. I just can't remember where exactly. I don't think anyone has said anything else about it. It was mentioned by the DPAS once. They said they were going to look into it more but nothing was ever mentioned again.

Thanks guys.
Rijir, that's it. I think that was a THS link .
It's hard to believe that a band as Purple can't have more movie masters to edit. Even Brazilian classic 70's band have it so, Purple as a mainstream global act must have more filmed concerts. The trouble is to find the masters.
Ex . That interview movie made by students on mk 3 . A big interview and just some pieces of the gig. How they could record the interview and miss the full gig ? Sad and unbeliveble.

That piece of Highway Star was Essen 1972.

Except that there´s lots of different things from several TV shows:

Top Of the Pops:

-Black Night
-Strange Kind Of Woman
-Fireball

Beat Club:

-Hallelujah
-No No No
-Highway Star

Disco:

-Fireball

Southbank Summer:

-Mandrake Root

Pop Deux:

-Wring That Neck
-Mandrake Root

Memo:

-Into The Fire
-Demon´s Eye

+ bits and pieces from the Blizen Jazz Festival concert and Speed King from an unspecified TV Show.

That´s what I can think of now of the top off my head

Do you know if more of the HS clip exists? Also have you seen the Demon's Eye footage?

a mimed Speed King was from Vicky Leandro's "Ich Bin" TV Show.

Also footage from Essen Pop Festival (late 1969) has been found but, according to DTB, is a bit of a let down. h

Not Stuttgart-Boeblingen 72? The THS list mentions this date.

The report itself said Essen, I had it saved on my harddrive and checked it a while back.

But Essen 72 wasn't an open air concert (neither was Stuttgart, I think, both dates were in February). And Purple didn't play during the day, the show in Essen started 21.30.
