(That's where I got a drum stick from Paicey.) I got a boot of that show called Come Taste NY. The setlist on the boot does not include Dealer. That doesn't mean parts of it were not played though - I have not listened to it for a while. nondisclosed_email@example.com (JoeF)Sat, 18 Jun 2005 03:43:08 +0000 Re: An (Almost) Interesting Statistichttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51638,from=rss#post51638https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51638,from=rss#post51638quote:Beese wrote: I know Dealer was played live, but I've never seen a boot with a version of Comin' Home on it. I didn't think that was ever played. Sail Away wasn't played either was it??  I believe Comin Home was played at thier first attempt to record a show for the King Biscuit Flower Hour, unfortunately that recording and release was nixed and re-done and released as On The Wings Of A Russian Foxbat and Comin Home was not played that night. nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ritchies Strat)Sat, 18 Jun 2005 01:34:10 +0000 Re: An (Almost) Interesting Statistichttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51637,from=rss#post51637https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51637,from=rss#post51637I know Dealer was played live, but I've never seen a boot with a version of Comin' Home on it. On the surface, and given how much of their studio album was a constant part of their set list, it seems unlikely that MkIV would've only performed the song the one time. I sort of feel the same way regarding "Comin' Home" - though in it's particular case I admit this may be more wishful thinking in the hope a decent recording will someday surface! nondisclosed_email@example.com (MrEd45)Sat, 18 Jun 2005 00:22:43 +0000 Re: An (Almost) Interesting Statistichttps://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51635,from=rss#post51635https://bdeeppurplefanforum.runboard.com/p51635,from=rss#post51635It's almost a shame they haven't played Flight of The Rat or Hard Lovin' Man live yet... I don't listen to too much MkIII & Mk IV, but still I didn't know of live versions of Sail Away or What's Going on Here, or A200 for that matter. Also was Dealer played live? If so I stand corrected. Why? Well, because they are the only two where every song can be found on a live recording, official or bootleg. Maybe I need to get out more RFnondisclosed_email@example.com (RFBach)Fri, 17 Jun 2005 18:53:48 +0000
