after viewing the strat that syuart smith had and is for sale, i wondered about the value of a couple things i have.
ive got the bottm half of rbs sacrificial strat from a sbte show in lakeland fl. 1982,also the strap which later was signed by rb and bobby rondinelli, this has been framed in a shadowbox with the slaves and masters cd signed by rb,rg,and ian paice, along with each of their rock cards.i ot those autographs when dp was playing soccer against a tampa radio station.i can put a picture on here if anyone would like to see it.

You ought to advertise if for $10,000 and see what happens. The guy who bid on the "Ritchie Strat" on ebay, has bought all sorts of signed items, so he's some kind of collector, you might get lucky and make a few bucks. If he's prepared to buy that strat he must be preapred to buy absolutely anything. I foudn an interview and posted it on the Strat topic where Stuart Smith says he BOUGHT a Natural Strat with a Rosewood neck, the implication being it's that one that's now on ebay. I don't know but I'd reckon its just an ordinary Strat.

Yeah and any kid can buy such a thing, trash it ,and hope someone will be stupid enough to buy it for a high price.

Well the auction looks interesting, but if that sells for $25,000 then I think you'll see a sudden rash of Ritchie's smashed up relics appearing from all over the place, some authentic like this one and some.....well who knows.
But I do beleive I still have mine tucked away in that old wood shed of mime, yes I'm sure I saw it just a couple of years ago I think it was the top half of a white strat shaped guitar and a bit of a maple neck, autographed by "the man".....eBay here I come. Oh yeeeeessss sireeeee there's another one along every few minutes.
Is it Donkeys that make a strange noise when they are getting screwed real bad ?

Re: rb memorobilia
i just thought after seeing the 77 strat, which by the way sold today for 60000, i might as well have a go at it.
this is authentis but i do agree that certain strars were deemed sacrificial and if you watch the live between the eyes video rb changes to a cloth strap on the demolition gtr. I thought it was interesting that the cord remained plugged in when rb would throw the guitar around, they stapled it so it would.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=618&item=4025539931&rd=1 i dont know if you can see it or not.
do you like the way its layed out?
cheers
