Yes faz, Milan is still a children ! He is even not 20 !emoticon

More seriously, being Blackmore fans do not prevent us from having an objective point of view.

I'm just talking about OIAM and yes it's crap, the video is crap and this song bores me as much as Haunted for exemple !

I do not say BN is bull***t, I just say I enjoy much more songs like Village In The Sand, WTM or even Now and Then which is one of my fave so much is the music bald of any
complexity and so "simple"

Yes shame on me !!

Please forgive me for BN gigs I went to, needing hundred miles on the road because these stars keep on avoiding France

Forgive me for the bootlegs I own, I don't merit them

Forgive me for the japanese SOTM and UTVM CDs and for the limited FAM cardbox

And oh yes, forgive me for Schloss Eggersberg in 98, the 1st "private show" BN ever did (and the only one I went), leaving Paris at 2pm and coming back the day after at 12am, very fun !

I swear to never do it again ...
I swear to listen OIAM every time I'll have bad thoughts

That said, enough for me ...

Whats your point? are you twelve years old? You want me to think u are an amzing fan for all the traveling you did to see BN??? I personally don't care what you think about anything..My whole beef with people bashing it is, to move on..Ritchie is a 60 year old man that isnt into Rock n Roll playing anymore...neither is Jon lord for that matter...those guys left rock to do something they have gotten more into...Basically, alot of you guys should just give up on ritchie and stop going to his BN shows secretly wishing he will pick up his strat and play it ALL NIGHT LONG.

Purple still puts out great music, enjoy it and face the facts that u only want rock from these guys. And thats fine, no one ever told BB King to play anything other then blues. And i am not saying older rockers should switch to classical or blues..I am just saying, if a guy turns to a different music and u dont like it....dont bash it.. I do however find it strange how anyone my age that has seen ritchie since 1975 can be surprised or DISSAPOINTED in what he is doing now. I wish he would have put out an album like BN in 1975 with Ronnie singing on it ..wow, that would have been brilliant.

You know, people who are my age or even younger, get drunk, rob banks, kill people(sometimes even on their counrtries leaders order), are drug addicts, have car accidents, commit suicide, have had enough sex to have a couple of children, lose jobs, gamble, have learned how everything !@#$ up at each try and there´s no sense in considering this such a wonderful world.
Belive me, I have known and still know people to which all of this applied, people of my age who lived by ignorance and died by ignorance, I had to suffer enough bullshit not to take more from people who don´t even have the !@#$ of an idea what some people had to live trough even if in just a short time.

Aren´t those above all the things that were, years ago supposed to seperate the wonderful addult world from the world of the naive innocent children? What´s left? Amount of experience? So why don´t 80 years old call 40 years old children as well given they are twice as old.

I´m still laughing at the stupidity of people calling 20 years olds children. They have a lot more to learn themselves.

when I was 20 I laughed at it too...Trust me, when you are 40 you will see what we mean.. let me ask u a question...did u ever argue with an adult when u were 12 or maybe 13 years old?..perhaps a teacher or a parent? Now that u are in your 20's, when u look back at yourself at age 13 arguing with your dad, do u think u are STILL right in those arguements? The answer should be NO, WHAT THE HECK DID I KNOW AT AGE 13..this will happen again when u are 40 and look back at your 20's. Trust me kid, it happens fast..

a wise man once said, "He who thinks the same at age 40 as he did at age 20, has wasted 20 years of his life"

Try reading some of the posts before you open you're gob and give it large. If you bothered to read beyond the end of your nose you'd notice that most people here aren't bashing BN at all, including myself, personlly I like then, but I don't like some of the stuff such as OIAMY, becuase it's basically pap, elevator music, shoe-shine music, the stuff Ritche dismissed years ago but is now producing more regularly.

Ps All this adult crap you're laying on some people here, seems like a total waste of time, stop pontificating about being grown up, it just makes you sound like a "Hector", many of us here are old but not yet quite dead.

When one is stupid enough to give up all of his ideals, okay. Except of all the knowledge I increase everyday(and love to do that) not too much has change since I was 13. I still love the music of DP, I still have my "political" views or whatever you will call it, I still stand to most of what I thought when I was 13, because I understand it not because I was a naive youngester(I never was that) but because I just were right then. Most of that I learned about live since is that it isn´t really funny, and I lost many of my idealism and gave up many of my dreams. I don´t want to be a grumpy old man with 40 already. If that means being adult, so thanks.

I´m aware of that I learn, and that I know more than in the past and that I will know more than know now, but I just had it when people at only 40 think they are the wisest of them all and know everything. If that is enough then please lay down and die you all, there´s nothing more to get if you don´t think there isn´t anything more to learn for you.

People who think I´m a naive child(at an age, that expression is more than inapropriate) should really know me better and compare me to more people of my age, I´m nothing like them, I wouldn´t be here like I am if that was the case.

Who's grumpy? Fisrt off pal, if you have the same views at age of twenty something that you did at 13 years old that leaves only two choices. A)you were a genius at 13 years old
or B) you are a very dumb 20 year old

What is elevator music anyway?? That is a childish statement, music is music dude. if it is played loud, soft, fast or slow... Thats my point of this discussion. RITCHIE HASNT CHANGED..He is still playing the same melodies and lead style. Only change, he doesn't use marshalls anymore and he plays alot more accustic guitar? How can anyone love his playing all the years in deep purple then bash him when he doesn't play as loud anymore? That is childish!!! Thats what I meant by childish, it had NOTHING to do with your age you FREAK!!! Sometimes an 80 year old can act childish!! And in your case, a 20 year old is acting very Childish.

Hey BlackerthanNight , here is what you have writen:

In fact Ritchie should get a stunt double for all the live gigs......it must be really dangerous to his health listening to Candice wailing on a bi-nightly basis at these gigs and having to play pap like "Once in a Yillion". No wonder Ritchie's lost the plot.

SOUNDS LIKE BASHING TO ME YOU MORON!!!

Never put anything down in writing then lie about it..
