Wayne´s World - Highway Star
Highway Star is definitly not playing during any of the both Wayne´s World movies(I must know I´ve seen both about a billion times).
- In Fargo there´s Whitesnake poster hanging in the room of Lundegaard´s son.
- Child In Time in Breaking The Waves
- Catch The Rainbow in For The Love Of The Game(with Kevin Costner)

Re: Purple Family on the Movies
Don't know if this counts but the movie rock Star has a tribute band doing Long Live Rock n Roll during the first five minutes of the film. When they stop rehearsing the lead singer goes into his room and finds his 8 year old brother playing with his records. The only records you actually see in the shot are, the made up ficticious band the movie is about and BURN.

Re: Purple Family on the Movies
Highway Star in Waynes World??
I do remember a S&M Tshirt in one of them.
Wasn't the Days Of Thunder song a Billy Idol song that was written by Coverdale???
There is an Aviation themed movie that has KAYBD in it.(I forget the title)
I must have missed CTR in FTLOTG
(boring movie),but I do remember hearing the Allman Brothers "Melissa" in The Bodyguard starring Costner. /
The list is probably very extensive, isn't there a link somewhere for this,Brian Currins web index perhaps?

Re: Purple Family on the Movies
HS was in "Dazed And Confused" and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in another movie or two over the years.

I think when you type the names of Purple members into the name search on IMDB the songs should appear under their "Composer Filmography".

Re: Purple Family on the Movies
purpletemple, if you want to see it, it's out on DVD, released by Prism Leisure in 2001, PPA 1180... but you shouldn't worry if you never see it.
