Come Hell or Highwater - more than Stuttgart / Birmingham?
clumsy title, but here I go, inspired by a post in the soundboard series thread.
Munich is pointed out as perhaps being the source for Perfect Strangers. Makes sense, as it does not sound like it's taken from either Stuggart or Birmingham.
it's been a while since I listened to any of them, but I clearly remember thinking when I first got the Live over Europe 4 cd set, that the CHOH cd must have material from at least a 3rd show...
Off the top of my head, I seem to remember that Smoke...must be from a different gig, or at least it must have had some overdubs...
Can anyone weigh in on this?

I think "Smoke" on the CHOHW CD and on the Stuttgart CD are the same. I remember reading that the version on CHOHW was slightly edited. Not sure about Munich. Sorry I can't be of more help. If Munich was recorded, I wish they would release the full show.

Smoke on CHOHW surely is from Stuttgart. I immediately recognized Ritchie's and Jon's Intro when I first heard the CD (yes, I was one of the lucky oned to attend this Show ;-)). However, the singalong part on the CD was cut short a bit

what about Highway Star?
sounds different to me...
can it be just mixing / mastering?
btw; the original cd sounds really really good, way before loudness wars.
been looking for the japanese version for the bonus tracks, but that's a rarity, and very expensive...

I also bought the Japanese version at the time but now it's a bit redundant, also because Lazy is missing the drum solo and Space trucking is missing the intro jam and the Mandrake root/Paint it black part. So you get, with Woman from Tokyo, something like 5/6 extra minutes in total.

I reckon most of it comes from Stuttgart. I think Anyone's Daughter is from Birmingham. The give away for Perfect Strangers is the intro.
I agree if Munich exists i'd love it to be released.

Well...The plot thickens. I don't have a bootleg for Munich so I've just looked it up on YouTube and Perfect Strangers isn't from Munich! Intro is different! It's definitely not Stuttgart and, to my eyes, not Birmingham (unless some editing has gone on which I doubt)

The US release of this from '97 also has the bonus tracks, they're just not listed on tbe back cover.
