Re:
Ah, meanwhile 26 times make an anniversary as well. So we can celebrate 26 years of Purpendicular this year. Hooray!
Seriously: If you want to discuss the same topics for the umpteenth time, go ahead. There must be some reason why it happens.

It keeps the forum alive, which i appreciate.
Opinions could also change in time. They likely do.

Re: Re:
I agree 100%. It keeps the forum alive. If you don't like seeing something for the 25th, 26th or 27th time, then don't look at it. Nobody is forcing you. And by the way, just because you've seen the same subject numerous times doesn't mean someone else isn't seeing it for the first time.

Re:
Obviously you and I have different understandings about what is alive is in this context. For me, it rather feels like visiting the same gravestone for the 25th time.

That's true of course. However, to me it doesn't seem like lots of new people having joined this board in recent years. From those who have posted in this thread, everyone except leelyt who joined in 2017 has joined in 2013 or earlier.
But I have to admit that one interesting question has been asked: that about official live releases from the 1987 tour. Up to this day there is no decent release (for me, that dodgy mix-it-together-effort called "Nobody's Perfect" is far from decent), and that this leads to repeating discussions doesn't surprise me. After all, it's the last Mk II tour (I don't count those few short 1988 shows as a "tour") which isn't featured by a proper live release.

Re: Re:
Yes, a proper release from the 1987 tour would be great!. At the time of the tour (can it be 34 years ago already?) I read that a couple of the shows had been filmed, one by MTV. Of course, I'm still waiting for the Made in Europe box set and a release of the 1969 Canadian MKI show if it hasn't been lost again. I'm afraid that, by the time these are released, I will be 6 feet under.
